A durable and functional single family home just outside Peterborough, Ontario awaits a deserving family. Built with affordability in mind this project is currently going through permit approval for an early summer build!
We are thrilled to be partnering with Susan Zambonin and her team at Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawarthas on this exciting proof of concept project in Fraserville.
The journey has been long but rewarding, and as we move forward with permitting to meet building code requirements, this project marks a significant milestone for both Cormor and the use of the technology in Canada.
We commend Susan for her forward-thinking approach to construction, emphasizing the importance of building what is truly needed, not just what is desired. We are equally happy that Habitat will be able to provide an affordable house to our community and that the family is excited to live in a 3D printed home.
Habitat for Humanity builds safe, decent, and affordable homes in the Peterborough and Kawartha Region, in partnership with local families and individuals. Habitat homebuyers pay an affordable mortgage geared to their income and volunteer at least 500 hours.
With a little help, Habitat homeowners can build strength, stability, and self-reliance. Stable, affordable housing empowers families and individuals to overcome the barriers that so often stand between achieving a healthier, happier, and more financially secure life.
